Funding A Hospital in the Cloud That Heals The Most Vulnerable
PII Foundation, a U.S. non for profit, has been funding crisis tele-health care for patients at risk, who cannot access direct care. This is due to  global natural disasters, war or remote situations with little or no clinics or staff. The foundation's goal is to rapidly fund services that can easily be deployed by way of a hospital in the cloud using native qualified licensed doctors and therapists to communicate with patients using Starlink and cell phones. To date, 8000 free visits have been provided to Ukrainian families who are either trapped in Ukraine or have fled. Donations : https://www.gpnow.net/ukrainian-crisiscare/

Art Brings Awareness About the Homeless Needing Shelter in New York City
Featured at the New York Historical Society Museum, there is a gallery of artworks that show different populations that make up New York City (NYC). These plaster busts were created with the help of four resident women at a homeless shelter on Park Ave. The project by artists John Ahearne and Rigoberto Torres was created about the homeless crisis in NYC using the transformation of art through plaster models made from real persons. The space around the busts is symbolic of the space and shelter that should be given to the homeless as part of the community.

Simulation Transforms Nursing Training
Many U.S.nursing programs are using  simulation to provide  nursing students practice while not in a direct care setting. With  virtual reality and software they can  assess the plastic model patient provided with non direct patient access. The simulation broadens nursing observation and assessment skills. This is invaluable in health care settings when the nurse enters the field.Teachers can program now the medical issues patients may present in the simulation. The ability to simulate patient fact patterns is helpful  also for the nurse to observe, assess and readily learn how to communicate findings  with their healthcare team.

What does Scuba Diving and Astronaut Training Have in Common?
Neutral Buoyancy defined is the equal tendency to either float or sink. Divers and astronauts experience the same feeling.  Even though being underwater and being in space is different, astronauts feel the weight of their suits as well as the drag of the water very similar to scuba divers. This helps with important training for astronaut preparation mentally and physically. The  Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory (NBL) located at the Sonny Carter Training Facility near NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas, USA supports this training.Photo Credit: PADI.com
