The world's leading research into public interest whistleblowing
Led by Professor A J Brown of the Centre for Governance and Public Policy at Griffith University, Whistling While They Work 2 is focussed on whistleblowing in the public interest and has a research team drawn from 4 universities with 5 partner organisations in Australia and New Zealand. It's an Australian Research Council funded Linkage Project and the world's largest current research project into whistleblowing. It aims to improve managerial responses to loop whistleblowing in public and private sector organisations and organisations with 10 or more employees can participate. The general findings, lessons and best practice models emerging from the research will be available for free to all participating organisations.

A village that produces its own food and energy
The Venice Architecture Biennale 2016 opens from May 28 to Nov 27 and the Danish Pavillion is a must see. Danish studio EFFEKT is showcasing a self-sustaining, off-grid village of greenhouse properties called ReGen Villages. The project imagines a community of buildings that produce all their own food and energy- a model that aims to address global issues such as food and water scarcity and the rise of CO2 emissions.

The world's first tour of an art gallery with a robot
The Art Gallery of Western Australia has introduced a robot tour guide. The 58 centimetre tall robot called Aggie will take tours around parts of the gallery every month. The tours, designed to appeal to both adults and children, will engage viewers with information about the painters and the paintings.
