Created in 2017 from wool, embroidery cotton, linen, calico, hemp string, metallic thread, fabric paint, polyester stuffing, woollen batting and steel armature, attached to a 240-volt motor. Since the 1960s a diverse body of art has been informed by feminism although there has always been difficulty with the value of embroidery, a craft that has been used for centuries to inculcate feminine qualities; essentially, embroidery was used to keep women quiet. Girls in domestic servitude or school created out of necessity. The idle rich encouraged their daughters to embroider for amusement and to signify a leisured lifestyle.

Forty years after the Iranian Revolution, two Australian artists were given a rare opportunity to paint a mural in the country's capital.They are the first international artists invited and commissioned by the Tehran City Council and the Australian Embassy to paint a mural in the country.After three weeks of traveling Iran and studying the culture, the artists were inspired to paint two men they met in a bazaar, who were repairing a traditional Persian carpet.The finished mural is a six-storey high, 40 metre wide painting aptly called "The Carpet Repairmen".https://www.abc.net.au/triplej/programs/hack/australian-artists-paint-mural-in-iran/10804654
