A new way to help back pain
MyGolgi is a wearable device with a sensor that's placed on your body which can provide feedback on your posture via your mobile device. It can warn you when you're doing an activity that may aggravate your back pain, such as sitting poorly for long periods of time and lifting incorrectly. Through this capture of information during daily life, health professionals should be able to make more informed decisions about your pain and treat it more effectively and efficiently. It's planning to be the world's first biomechanical tracker that's adaptable and able to be worn long term. http://www.mygolgi.com

Noma became the best restaurant in the world by experimenting with local ingredients to create a unique dining experience. It's based in Copenhagen and will be on tour next year in Mexico. A team is already traveling throughout the country to find special local ingredients, understand the seafood, and get inspiration from the wonderful Mexican culture. Their outdoor open-air restaurant will sit nestled between the jungle and the Caribbean Sea in Tulum. Bookings will start in December for dinner in April. http://www.noma.dk/mexico.

A peanut paste that saves lives
Plumpy Nut is a powerful peanut-based paste with skimmed milk powder, sugar, vegetable fat, vitamins and minerals. Kids love it. And it can be the difference between their life and death. In places hit hard by hunger and malnutrition it's been a game changer for humanitarian organisations like Save the Children and the way they treat severely malnourished children. http://www.savethechildren.org.au/about-us/media-and-publications/latest-news/years/20-years-of-saving-lives
