In the digital economy shift work is becoming more popular for both workers and employers due to both needing more flexibility. OneShift started in Australia in 2012 aiming to create a market for jobs and solve the recruiting problems. At that time getting a job as a shift worker was very old-school: you printed out your resume and took it to employers. Often these employers wanted someone but not right now. Centennial Park in Sydney is marketing plaques under trees to remember friends and family. The plaque under this Tulip Tree was dedicated to Mikaela Mae Harris in 2009. We walked past the tree today and it looks so beautiful on this Autumn day that we stopped to admire it and saw the plaque.

This is the first time I've been given this opportunity and it should make the people rating on films more representative of people who see them on flights. The Venice Architecture Biennale 2016 opens from May 28 to Nov 27 and the Danish Pavillion is a must see. Danish studio EFFEKT is showcasing a self-sustaining, off-grid village of greenhouse properties called ReGen Villages. The project imagines a community of buildings that produce all their own food and energy- a model that aims to address global issues such as food and water scarcity and the rise of CO2 emissions.
