The Legal Concierge App
An app created by lawyers, for lawyers, AusLaw Concierge is a scheduling app that revolutionises the way legal professionals liaise and schedule meetings, mediations, hearings, and meetings with Barristers, as well as how clients can find and schedule meetings with a lawyer too.  Within a few clicks, you can see when lawyers are available and instantly book in a meeting at the touch of a button.  Founded by Barrister, Michael Alexander, AusLaw Concierge eliminates the headache of back and forth correspondence, and makes phone tag with a lawyer, a thing of the past. Saving endangered species - the Mala Wallaby
Biodiversity is essential to our survival. So good to hear about the critically endangered Mala Wallaby:When Australian Wildlife Conservancy ecologists recently wrapped up annual health checks of Mala wallabies inside the 9,450-hectare feral predator-free safe haven at Newhaven Wildlife Sanctuary (NT), a total of 24 individuals were captured (9 females + 15 males) over four nights. These including 10 Newhaven-born Mala and excitingly, 75% of females caught were carrying young wallabies in their pouches.Mala were reintroduced to Newhaven in 2017 as part of their ambitious rewilding program to restore important, locally extinct species to Central Australiahttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbwQv7K9x6A

Australians to buy more medicines for less money
ABC reporters Stephanie Dalzeil and Emmy Groves write that the cost of hundreds of medicines will be halved for millions of Australians with chronic illnesses such as diabetes and heart disease.  From September 2023, they will be able to buy 60 days' worth of medicine for the price of a single prescriptions.Consumers Health Forum of Australia (CHF) chief executive Elizabeth Deveny said, 'Consumers are telling us that they can't afford the health care.'  They can't afford out-of-pocket costs for visits to GPs. See the ABC article and interview with Dr Stephen Duckett (Melbourne University): https://rb.gy/9fnmi
