MingBelle - The Year of the Ox
Artist Chris Chun’s striking new zodiac painting commemorates 2021. The Ox is an essential zodiac as it represents strength, hard work and dependability, something we've all had to embrace after a tumultuous year. After 2020, where the whole world turned upside down, Chris wanted to create something comforting whilst demonstrating the beauty of resilience. When things are tough, anyone can look at MingBelle, the characterful Ox, and it will remind them of their inner strength and to keep on moving forward. https://www.chrischun.com/

Abstraction through colour
Sydney artist Liz Payne’s vibrant and distinctive work explores abstraction through colour, shape and form with a combination of mediums -paint, embroidery and beading. With occurring themes of symmetry, symbolism and the power of pattern being explored, the works grab the viewers’ attention and draw them closer to explore the meticulously detailed and intricate textures, layered upon and hand stitched. All her works are designed, painted, hand embroidered and beaded, so each work is one of a kind and a one-off original. Liz’s large scale embroidered artworks, can take months (even years) to complete.   https://www.lizlpayne.com/
