When producing high quality beautiful yarn nearly 40%  of the original fleece can be discarded. Traditionally, this “dodgy” wool is dumped at tips (usually in plastic bags). The discarded wool which is biodegradable and rich in nutrients is now being made into garden fertiliser pellets.
