Australian biomedical scientists have developed a simple saliva test as part of a research project to detect early throat cancer. The Queensland University of Technology scientists developed the test for a person who had no symptoms or clinical signs of cancer. This is a world-first discovery, detecting previously, undetectable throat cancer.
