Professor John Hooper from The University of Queensland is working at Brisbane's Translational Research Institute to develop a new way to detect and treat Pancreatic Cancer. With 70-80% of Pancreatic Cancer patients diagnosed in the late stages with limited treatment options, Prof Hooper is aiming to develop new precision-medicine agents called theranostics for the detection and treatment. He was awarded a 2019 Avner Foundation Innovation Grant to continue his work. | https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsP2dVeA9nw&feature=youtu.be
