The end to the spread of the Zika virus

Scientists from the CSIRO and the University of California, San Diego have vaccinated mosquitoes to be resistant to spreading the Zika virus. They engineered a gene cluster and injected it into mosquito embryos. These injected mosquitoes were unable to pick up the Zika virus and hence were unable to spread it. https://blog.csiro.au/latest-buzz-about-zika-resistant-mozzies
