Groundbreaking drug molecule developed with AI

Japanese pharmaceuticals company Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma and UK start-up Exscientia have developed the world's first drug molecule via artificial intelligence (AI). The project's exploratory research phase was developed in under 12 months, with conventional techniques taking around 4.5 years.
