Dealing with daylight saving

ABC digital news journalist Hanan Dervisevic writes about dealing with the start of daylight saving, which starts in Australia on the first weekend in October.

Dervisevic quotes Flinder University sleep expert Professor Emeritus Leon Lack, who suggests getting out into the sunshine first thing each morning leading up to the transition and on the Sunday and Monday mornings after the transition.  Professor Lack says, 'You can help yourself by exposure to bright light in the morning, so when you wake up, go for a walk or maybe water the garden.'
