America's FIRST 5G healthcare innovation lab in Atlanta

Atlanta is now home to the nation'a first 5G healthcare innovation lab (EHIH). The 5G healthcare innovation lab is part of a new strategic partnership between Verizon and Emory Healthcare to develop and test 5G Ultra Wideband-enabled use cases that could transform the healthcare industry.

Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network combined with mobile edge computing will allow EHIH to explore:

- augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) applications for medical training

– enable telemedicine and remote patient monitoring

– provide a point of care diagnostic and imaging systems from the ambulance to the ER. | http://bit.ly/3cJLNC2
