It will soon be easier for parents in Shanghai to sue their adult children for not visiting home. A law to ensure adult children visit their parents was enacted in China in 2013 however it's been difficult to enforce. The new regulation will mean that failure to visit could also negatively affect their credit scores. Children who no longer live with their parents must ?visit or send greetings often". If they don?t comply with a court ruling, they could be entered into a ?credit score blacklist,? after which they may face difficulties opening bank accounts and getting loans.
