Photographs designed as meditations on the way we engage with the environment
Ralph Kerle’s photographs capture the moments in time when nature coalesces into visual abstraction on the surface of the water. Photographs are designed as peaceful meditations on the way we engage with the environment in which we live. His work is inspired by the belief these abstractions abound in the environment naturally - every single moment of the day. We just need to be aware of the phenomenon, be alert to and curious about how they affect us visually and emotionally. He believes it evolves from an artist's subconscious observations of reality, where shape and form are captured. www.ralphkerlesart.com
