A contact lens that's a video recorder
Sony and Sanyo have applied for patents that describe a pair of lenses with an inbuilt video recorder that lets you record what you see with autofocus, exposure and aperture adjustment as well as zooming to optimize the quality of the video. Instead of recording a continuous stream, the Sony contact lens would allow you to control filming with the blink of an eye. Sensors would measure eyelid closure time, allowing the lens to differentiate between an average blink and extended blink for control. Google has already invented a contact lens that can be powered by the sun. http://www.digitaltrends.com/cool-tech/sony-smart-contact-lens/#ixzz47N9eAUbU

Tram traffic lights on the ground
A new form of traffic lights has been invented to prevent people focussed on their smart phones from hurting themselves and others. In the German city of Ausburg, red LED traffic lights have been embedded into the pavement at two tram stops by Stadtwerke Augsburg, to provide warning to those who forget to look up at the traditional eye-level lights. http://www.springwise.com/street-level-traffic-lights-smartphone-zombies/
