Welcome to the 'Climate Club' for COP26 - US 1st member?
The European Commission has just introduced a set of 12 proposals—calling it “Fit for 55″, that is 55% emission reduction by 2030. Some policy analysts are suggesting this will create a “climate club“— essentially an exemption from the tariff for countries that adopt climate policies commensurate with the EU’s. The US would be the most likely first member. ‘Change is Coming’ with wins Against ExxonMobil, Chevron and Shell
In the last couple of weeks quite profound changes have moved climate policy in major Oil Companies' Board rooms.  ExxonMobil investors voted in two new climate-friendly directors, Chevron investors voted to require that company to slash emissions.
