Helping home owners get planning permission
Approval from council for home improvements can be a slow and painful process for home owners. uDrew is a proptech for home owners (and builders) to create customisable, interactive and compliant building plans.  Their technology streamlines planning approvals by checking project compliance against the latest local and national building codes, while also acting as a central location for all parties involved to communicate. You can submit, store and print finished building plans easily from the platform. It's powered by a rules engine that is always learning about regulation and adapting it for future use. https://www.udrew.com.auPhoto:  CEO Tom Young

Measuring Methane Reductions in Livestock
Farming can combat climate change.DIT AgTech is trialling patented technology that will both reduce livestock methane emissions and capture carbon reductions to allow farmers to trade credits online. Clinical trials for this product are currently underway with Central Queensland University.Using proven methane reduction feed additives, DIT’s innovation uses drinking water to distribute the additives in soluble form. As livestock drink to their body weight, the technology can work out precise delivery amounts, and create a methodology to capture the emission reductions through the amount of water consumed to deliver an Australian Carbon Credit Unit (ACCU).https://ditagtech.com.au/

A shared costs online platform for building inspection and strata reports
Increasingly in Australia’s hot market, home buyers are wondering if property inspections are really necessary and worth the money. Real estate agents dislike opening up the property multiple times to accommodate inspections on behalf of various different buyers. Before You Bid aims to make building and pest inspections and strata reports as accessible as possible to everyone buying and selling property in Australia by using a shared costs and cashback model, and predictive machine learning, to price reports as cheaply as possible for the home buyer and seller. This allows even last-minute buyers to make a better informed decision. https://www.beforeyoubid.com.au

Maximising off-the-plan property sales by fixing the 'pecking order' problem
Traditionally, property sold “off-the-plan” has been marketed at a fixed price to "first come, first served," using physical display suites, salespeople, scale models and glossy brochures.  There is no testing of the market to match preferences, build a book of demand and optimise the stock allocation for revenue maximisation.  With Covid-19 limiting movement, people may not be able to attend a physical space. Release.Me provides an end-to-end online release process.   The platform handles everything: buyer applications & preferences, algorithmic lot allocation to make the process fairer for buyers, buyer notifications, contract preparation, deposit collection and contract signing times.  https://release.me/
