Drinking tea could help you live longer
Drinking just two cups of tea per day could lower your risk of mortality by 10 per cent, a study suggests.The findings also suggested that the result was the same no matter whether milk or sugar was added, what their preferred tea temperature was, or whether there were genetic variants involved affecting the rate at which caffeine was metabolised.The researchers, from the National Institutes of Health, used data from the UK Biobank, which revealed that 85 per cent of men and women in the study aged 40 to 69 report that they regularly drink tea.
