Tonight we went to the Fuhrich Restaurant in Vienna and were pleased to see portable reading lamps used so we could see the menus better. Such a simple idea! Much better than having to use the torch on my phone.
We checked in to our room at the Astoria Hotel Vienna today to find this gadget near our bed. It offers free portable wifi. You take it out of the backing case and it gives you wifi for 20 hours courtesy of the hotel. With offers like this there's no need to buy SIM cards when you travel or pay extra for global roaming!
Four drones equipped with paint cans worked over a 12-hour period to paint this mural.
Each drone was operating as part of a whole, with multiple position monitoring systems making sure they didn?t accidentally bump into one another. Each color layer was laid on separately, representing a different aspect of the community the project is trying to highlight. https://techcrunch.com/2019/07/05/this-drone-swarm-spray-painted-a-jumbo-size-graffiti-mural/
The Madonna del Prato (Madonna of the Meadow), formally Madonna with the Christ Child and Saint John the Baptist, is a 1506 painting by Raphael, now held in the Kunsthistorisches Museum in Vienna. Next to it is a 3D relief of the painting so it can be appreciated by someone who is blind.
I saw this car in the showroom of the BMW factory in Regensburg in 2019 after doing one of their factory tours and took a photo. It started my interest in use of hydrogen as a source of power. Before then many thought hydrogen was too dangerous to use for energy.Companies are working on power-to-gas renewable hydrogen, which is when wind or solar energy is used to split hydrogen from water. This renewable hydrogen could be used to supplement renewable energy to charge electric cars. www.bmwblog.com/2019/01/20/could-bmw-use-hydrogen-to-charge-its-electric-cars/
