The WEF acknowleged that finding solutions to provide nutritious food to nearly 10 billion people by 2050 without destroying the planet is one of the greatest leadership opportunities of our generation.
And yet almost half the world's food ends up in landfill every year.

Our online behaviour in this pandemic has confused AI machine learning (ML) systems according to a new MIT report. In one example, an organisation that uses ML to detect credit card fraud had to tweak their algorithm to account for a huge spike in interest in gardening equipment & power tools. Also large swings in consumer behaviour (toilet paper one week to gym equipment the next!) exposed the brittle nature of AI algorithms and the need for human intervention.https://www.technologyreview.com/2020/05/11/1001563/covid-pandemic-broken-ai-machine-learning-amazon-retail-fraud-humans-in-the-loop

IBM's patent library covering AI, Watson and dozens of active US Patents in the general area of biological virus are being provided FREE to the innovation ecosystem.
Unprecedented.
In the spirit of technological innovation & solidarity for a global social cause, IBM has also warranted they will not assert any patent claims against any person or entity that otherwise would be infringing their rights by the use/ application/ manufacture of such patents.
There still is beauty in this world from such immense collaboration. Lets hope its not done & dusted once we contain and eradicate COVID19.
