SCAN QR CODE FOR DEMOMy project proposes to design an
automated health care robot for individuals who may be physically impaired,
elderly, or injured that will remove the need for constant monitoring by
healthcare/ aged care workers and allow users independence in taking care of
themselves. Please view for more information about the Need and Solution:https://docs.google.com/document/d/1_xKnmcOHiMD_kJGvF64yRSSuqJEE0JfFtfQcY_y-jg4/edit?usp=sharing
Every year NSW generates 8000 tonnes of plastic take away waste. Every year we waste around 7.6 million tonnes of food across the supply and consumption chain in Australia. Every year no states or territories across Australia has taken action. I am designing biodegradable takeaway packaging made from fruit and vegetable skins to help solve the amount of fruit waste and packaging waste in landfills. I seek assistance from industry professionals to help source a pressure heat mould and different moulding techniques?
Children who
experience autism can be hypersensitive to certain stimuli such as light,
sound and taste. If a combination of these happens at the same time, this can
lead to an overstimulation or sensory overload and cause a meltdown. I aim to
design and construct a product that creates a ‘safe space’ for children with
autism, as well as providing a place to learn in a classroom and at home. Check out my final design here: https://sway.office.com/aYs7m5cN1ANv9KwZ?ref=Link I am
looking for feedback from specialist, as well as interest in the overall idea. Thanks!
Check out my finished design here! --> https://sway.office.com/QFrLfx4zI75CFZEA?ref=LinkI have identified that there is an enormous need for a product that provides information and supplies for animal rescue. Currently, the number of animals that require rescue outweighs the capacity of organisations like Wires and they do not currently have a 'supply box' for rescues prompting unsafe practices which puts humans and animals at risk. My product (RAMA) would include a website, information booklet, roadside assistance station and portable kit, which would give members of the public the information and resources necessary to safely transport injured animals to wildlife care services.
We often find ourselves carrying something upon entering our household. Removing shoes without the aid of our hands is beneficial for posture, overall cleanliness and when our hands are full with items. While some products similarly exist there is currently a gap in the market for ways to store shoes afterwards - to be protected and organised to prevent cluttering. I propose to design and produce an innovation that will allow users to put shoes on and off while storing them neatly in compartments, hands-free. This product will work with various styles and shoe sizes meaning it’s accessible for everyone.
6 million hard-hats are sold each year providing protection for employees in multiple industries however the design rarely considers hair. The construction industry consists of 10.9% of female workers. 20.4 million tons of construction materials are thrown into landfill each year. I experienced first hand the uncomfortable fit of hard-hats for female hair, witnessed excessive amounts of waste in construction bins & the difficulty in accessing & disposing of sanitary products on a building site. I seek assistance from manufactures in plastic moulding to help produce a hard-hat fit for female hair, with compartments & is made out of sustainable materials.
