A courtesy bus to and from your local pub
I'm a city Idea Spy on holidays in country NSW- love this idea for the locals to be able to go out for drinks and dinner without having to drink/drive.

A seafood shop with a difference
Big Oyster is a fresh seafood shop near Port Macquarie with a difference. You can buy your seafood and sit on their attached pontoon to dine in a great seafood atmosphere . You can also take your own wine at no charge.

Fresh orange juice at a hotel breakfast
Hotels often provide bulk juices at breakfast and it was great to see this self service orange juice maker at a hotel in Rome. You just let whole oranges roll down the basket and out comes fresh orange juice! www.oranfresh.com

A device that finds your table
We ordered coffee after seeing an exhibition at the Art Gallery of NSW and were given a disk to take to our table. It didn't beep - the waitress located us, so it's a clever new way to serve food and drinks in a large cafe or restaurant. www.brightontech.com.au

A grocery store with no waste
You won?t find any paper or plastic bags in this Berlin store. Zero waste is created by allowing customers to purchase exactly how much they need, reducing waste in their homes. They carry mostly organic products that aren?t brand names using a bulk bin system. http://www.original-unverpackt.de

A 3D printed dining experience
In April this year a team of Dutch 3D printed food innovators became the first in the world to open up a pop-up restaurant called Food Ink serving 3D printed food. To follow up on that success, Food Ink has been planning a world tour to the world?s biggest culinary hotspots, and the next date has just been announced. They'll set up outside The Old Truman Brewery in Shoreditch, London from 25 to 27 July, where a nine-course 3D printed dinner will be served. www.foodink.io
