Proud of our elders
This iconic mural in Randwick, Sydney, is a clever way of recognizing a diverse group of older people who had been highly respected in the community. People featured in this mural include a winning ex-jockey, a swimmer who held world records, a long time president of the swimming club and an influential Aboriginal elder.

A garage turned into a recording studio
A musical couple in Sydney have turned their garage into a musical studio to encourage local musicians. They've soundproofed the garage with mattresses and invite friends to watch while they record the performances. Tonight the first act at Red Dog Studio was 'Dream Good', a Sydney-based band who are due to release their debut album soon. It's been described as "intricate, non-linear evocations of what beauty is". https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCpunjLEtzbmjVg28h5kpvFg

Giant golden bees on a skyscraper
On a side of the Eureka Tower, on Melbourne's Southbank, you'll find a colony of giant golden bees. It's a giant sculpture made from anodized aluminium. These creatures are a gleaming metaphor for a hive of frenetic activity and harmonious high-density city living. Eureka Tower is a 297.3-metre (975?ft) skyscraper that once was the world's tallest residential tower when measured to its highest floor. It was surpassed by Ocean Heights and the HHHR Tower in Dubai. https://www.onlymelbourne.com.au/m/15356/queen-bee-eureka-tower
