Irish company Digisoft TV is using virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) to create immersive training environments for the new normal.

The company recreates an organisation’s day-to-day working environment and/or production lines into a digital version with people able to interact on any type of device, so they can train remotely in social distancing times or to prevent contamination in environments which need to be kept very clean.

It also improves the standard of training because the sensory experience of photorealistic immersive training results is 6-7 times the level of knowledge retention in trainees when compared with traditional presentations.
