Hans Chang and the fantastic FAB9 team based in Footscray, Melbourne recently responded to a federal government tender to promote domestic production of medical protective equipment through makerspaces across Australia to increase the national capability to fight COVID-19.

The team have made 2 rapid design iterations of the PPE face shield since the original prototype with James Davison.

Customer samples are now on the way to hospitals for acceptance so they can go into pilot production.
