The immune system is an important tool to fight off infection and maintain a healthy mind and body.

An eight-week exercise and wellbeing program has been set up at Manning Base Hospital by physiotherapists and occupational therapists to help treat cancer patients.

This program is designed to take their minds off the negative and think of positive energy while getting the blood flowing.

Classes in yoga, lectures in mindfulness and sleep management to name a few, enable them to gain tools to better cope with their current conditions.
