Sharing Ideas that Do Good

Free vaccines by early 2021

Every Australian will get a free coronavirus vaccine dose as the Australian government confirms an agreement to secure at least 25 million doses with AstraZeneca, a British pharmaceutical giant, if trials prove successful.

The deal will ensure Australians will be among the first in the world to receive the Oxford University COVID-19 vaccine if human trials are judged as successful, safe and effective.

The final agreement will probably include Australia's biggest health company, CSL, producing the vast majority of the vaccine under a licensing deal in Melbourne.

The project could deliver the first vaccines by the end of this year or by early 2021. Vaccination will be as mandatory as possible- like "no jab no play".

Very interesting that the Oxford vaccine is already being manufactured in India, before the completion of stage 3 trials
