Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means "a reason for being." The word "ikigai" is usually used to indicate the source of value in one's life or the things that make one's life worthwhile, it represents the positive convergence of your mission, passion, profession and vocation. The word translated to English roughly means "thing that you live for" or "the reason for which you wake up in the morning."

I thought about trying to learn Japanese someday. I am very interested in this culture. But at the moment I want to devote all my energy and time to learning English. I found a great platform https://promova.com/ , where you can find a good teacher, as well as many additional materials for individual study.

One day, I considered attempting to learn Japanese. This culture really interests me. I want to focus all of my time and efforts on learning English right now, though.

Yes, you've provided an accurate description of the concept of "ikigai." It's a term that originated in Japan and represents the intersection of four elements:

  1. Passion (your love): What you love to do.
  2. Mission (your vocation): What the world needs.
  3. Vocation (your profession): What you are good at.
  4. Profession (what you can be paid for): What you can be paid for.
