Comunity-driven running clubs have started up across the country, with their organisers attributing their success to viral and catchy social media video content.
These clubs use the socials to show the fun aspects of the clubs & of participation in them. They make showing up less scary.
The runners once drawn in tend to stay as the group is welcoming and social. The fitness and activity gives them the reason to meet and has positive wellbeing benefits.
This model to get people involved works & should be adopted by other sporting & community-run organisations.
