Bush fire affected community receives help from Fujitsu General Air

post-image

Late last year the Buxton School of Arts Community Hall was a comfortable refuge no for many impacted by the Green Wattle Creek bush fires. A focal point for the community, it will now be even more comfortable for community groups following the donation of an air conditioning system by Fujitsu General Australia.

Some of the activities the hall holds include:

education programs and conferences

- free family movie nights

- digital community history events

- social wellbeing events such as craft

This demonstrates how corporate organisations can assist local communities for the greater good.
