An apple that tests your teeth

The Dentapple is a Fuji apple labelled with a QR code, which links to a smartphone application. You take four bites of the apple then post images of the fruit?s surface area to a dental hygienist via the application with answers to some questions. The hygienist sends you a report within 24 hours indicating the likelihood of tooth decay and periodontal disease.
