The Razorhurst Walking Tour is a two hour true crime walking tour through the streets of Kings Cross, Darlinghurst and East Sydney that takes you back in time to the places where criminals lived and their crimes took place.

The time between the wars saw the role of women changing and two characters (Tilly Devine and Kate Leigh) made history for their prominence as criminals that was not repeated anywhere else in the world, even though a lot of the conditions were similar in terms of prohibition and the recovery from the war.

Just found Kate Leigh's sly grog shop address so changed the image to show it. You can see it next to the Light Rail station at Surry Hills.

Paired kidney program leading to more kidney donations in Australia

Australian and New Zealand Paired Kidney Exchange Is going gang busters at increasing the number of kidneys donated / transplant patients into people that need them. Last year was a record year with 1/5 of all living kidney donors came from this program. The program allows friends and family who want to donate a kidney to a loved one but aren't a good medical match, to be paired with others in the same situation.
