Inspired by an airline business class seat, GoSleep is a chair that converts into a sleep pod with a flat bed. It features a sliding shade that cocoons you from light and crowds so you can relax and sleep at the airport. It include storage for luggage and other valuables, and allows you to charge your electronic devices as well as access the internet. www.gosleep.aero

I wish this existed when I had to sleep overnight on the floor of the airport due to a delayed flight!

Magnetic Attraction: Microplastics

A Kyushu University study (2021) estimated there were 24.4 trillion pieces of microplastics in the world's upper oceans or roughly 30 billion 500-ml plastic water bottles. Microplastics are tiny, toxic and very hard to remove from the environment. But researchers in the US have discovered that some Natural Deep Eutectic Solvents (NADES) can attract and bind microplastics, making it easier to remove them from the environment.
