Tomato festivals are now becoming popular around the world. They range from La Tomatina, a food fight festival held in August each year in the town of Bunol near Valencia in Spain, to the more upmarket festival at the Royal Botanic Garden by the harbour in Sydney in February which is jam-packed with activities.
