Cargo Motorcycle?! 100 km/h electric workhorses
Urban cargo solutions and last-mile delivery are quickly undergoing rapid electrification. Since large delivery vans and trucks don’t work well in crowded cities, many operators are moving towards cargo e-bikes and scooters. But what happens when those solutions just aren’t big enough? Then you may want to check out the PNY Ponie, an electric cargo motorcycle designed for heavy hauling in tight spaces. This Israeli invention is designed for cargo duty and delivery applications. It can carry up to 120 kg of cargo and has 400 litres of storage space on board. Read on and reach out to me: https://electrek.co/2023/11/08/cargo-electric-motorcycle-pny-ponie/

Nano-coatings for Dust Suppression in Mines
Israeli Advanced Manufacturing and Chemical company "Nano Z Coating" exploits Nano materials to produce innovative carpet like platforms on dumper trucks' roads. After 4 to 6 months of dry season they then unfold the revolutionary material or put another carpet layer over. The product is a biodegradable ecological solution designed and tested to suppress up to 75% less dust with an 85% water usage savings. These were the results found by Anglo American in Brazil when applied on unpaved roads in mines driven with 300 tonne trucks with a slope gradient of 7%. Photos and videos + more here: https://israeltrade.org.au/2023/09/14/nano-z-coating-nanometric-coating-solutions/

Fundamental Transformation in Physical Stores
Imagine that shoppers can walk into stores, select their items off the shelves, and leave without having to queue at checkout or scan any goods. Payments and receipts are settled digitally. Israeli company Trigo transforms existing supermarkets into fully autonomous digital stores where feeds from ceiling-mounted cameras and shelf sensors are analyzed to generate a “digital twin” of the store. Computer vision algorithms, similar to the ones on driverless cars, log interactions between humans and merchandise. The result is a fundamental transformation in the way physical stores are being managed and experienced by both shoppers and operators. Green Hydrogen With 90% Efficiency Without Electrolysis
There are two main arguments against hydrogen use in transportation. The first is that it is mostly generated from fossil fuels, which does not make it helpful against climate change. Second: when it is genuinely green, it is obtained through electrolysis, a process that is only 70% to 80% efficient... Scientists at Tel Aviv University plan to kill that argument with a method that is over 90% efficient in generating green hydrogen. It makes sense that an established automaker will try to keep things as they are, but that will bite them back when competitors find a better way...https://israeltrade.org.au/2023/07/31/israeli-researchers-produce-green-hydrogen-with-90-efficiency-without-electrolysis/

Cue the song: "Bringing (sexy) PlasticBack"
Do you remember the REDcycle Fiasco where the supermarkets stockpiled warehouses of soft plastics that couldn't be recycled? Well, there's now an environmentally friendly way to recycle them.Plastic Back has developed an environmentally friendly technology for converting plastic waste back into crude oil and other valuable chemicals. Based on this technology, Plastic Back has created a conversion unit that enables waste treatment and disposal sites to reduce the amount of waste put in landfills. The company's solution also provides waste producers such as factories, agriculture operations, and hospitals with an alternative to costly waste removal and treatment service.
