Windows that block noise even when open
Researchers at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore have developed a prototype, called the Anti-Noise Control Window, that expands the concept of noise-cancelling headphones to encompass an entire room. The prototypes consist of 24 small speakers that are placed in a window and emit sound waves that correspond to incoming noise and cancel it out.  https://www.springwise.com/sustainability-innovation/health-wellbeing/noise-canceling-aparatus-singapore?

No COVID-19 aid for tax haven companies
Denmark has banned companies that are registered in tax havens from accessing financial aid during the Pandemic. The Nordic country has spent billions on aid for companies experiencing drastic drops in revenues but, in an amendment to the aid measures, companies registered in tax haven countries are not eligible for aid.Additionally, firms applying for an extension of Danish state aid must now promise not to pay dividends or make share buy-backs in 2020 and 2021. https://www.nordicpolicycentre.org.au/denmark_bars_tax_haven_companies_from_covid_19_financial_aid

The market for Treasury securities provides the foundation of the US financial system and is a key plank – in fact, the key plank - within the global system.https://www
