The world’s first Hydrogen Act was passed by the South Australian parliament. The act seeks to streamline the regulatory process for hydrogen and renewable energy projects across the whole project life cycle. It is designed to be technology agnostic with regards to the production of hydrogen. As such, hydrogen production processes that use fossil fuels as a feedstock will be regulated under the Act, potentially gaining much faster approvals. Projects relating to the extraction of naturally occurring hydrogen deposits are not covered.https://www.inkl.com/a/JwoWrkfNQB

Two Aussie creations have made Time Magazine's best inventions of 2023 list.
Dreamfarm's 'Fluicer' and' Axiom Holographics' Hologram Zoo made the list. Axiom Holographics have designed a world first Hologram Zoo, allowing the public to see virtual animals without venturing out of Brisbane. They act alive but they are entirely made out of laser light.
The Fluicer is a flat juicer that squeezes fruits from the inside and out, with a guarantee to keep the seeds out. It had already won several prestigious design awards before a recommendation from Oprah Winfrey earlier this year catapulted it to world attention.
