Bridget, a new web and mobile platform, acts as document tracking list of incomplete or incorrect tasks on a construction project. It was started in Canada by two 24 year old women who researched construction sites. Contractors were keeping track of to-do lists on sticky notes, and nailing scribbled plans to walls. The more organized of those researched kept spreadsheets of different tasks, then emailed or phoned in requests to the appropriate subcontractors. There was much room for improvement so Bridget was developed. www.gobridget.comhttp://www.forbes.com/sites/clareoconnor/2016/04/19/t

Scientists have developed magnetic micro-bubbles, covered with magnetic nanoparticles, which have been embedded with anti-cancer drugs and injected into the bloodstreams of laboratory mice. The magnetisation enabled scientists to steer the micro-bubbles towards tumours and ultrasound vibrations were used to cause the bubbles to explode, shooting anti-cancer drug-carrying nanoparticles into the tumour tissue. This targeted drug delivery could be an alternative to chemotherapy which attacks healthy cells as well as tumours.
