Thank you for featuring my little contribution on how bloggers and content creators can use your site to reach a new audience to benefit them and your users
I stumbled across IdeaSpies not too long ago, although I didn't fully appreciate what the ethos was for Idea Spies in the beginning.
However, that changed after having a few conversations with the woman behind IdeaSpies, Lynn Wood, who helped me to understand the purpose of the platform. Now, I fully see the benefits of using it as it was intended to be used, and I hope you will too by the end of this post.
IdeaSpies is a way to help people connect with content that focuses on the positives, rather than the negatives. Think of it as being a little like Pinterest, but solely for the upbeat things in life.
So IdeaSpies features topics like 'Wellbeing', which I've been posting my articles to, where you can find content that focuses on the positive side of wellbeing. For example, my post on 'Music And The Amazing Mental Health Benefits Of Songs'.
Another section is 'Inclusion' which focuses on ways to help everyone feel included, which can feature stories of how that's happened and tips on how you can make that happen. Given the ugly side we've seen with the racism that followed England's runner up place in Euro 2020, such a topic seems more relevant today.
The 'Inclusion' section is a good place for my fellow disability and mental health bloggers and content creators to share their work because you can talk about how you've overcome your issues and stopped them from defining you.
As a blogger, it's an easy site to use for almost anything that's positive. All you need to do is sign-up and start posting your uplifting content with a positive title and a description of under 100 words, and you're good to go. Check out their guidelines for more information.
Not only do you get the added bonus of posting your content on a new global platform, but it'll help you get your content in front of a new Australian market too. IdeaSpies came in the top 100 coolest companies in Australia in 2016.
Furthermore, the more you share your content on IdeaSpies and the more it attracts views, the more likely your content will get featured in their newsletter as well. Bonus!
