I was fortunate to hear the founder of Kanopy, Olivia Humphery at the ACS Reimagination conference a few weeks back. Not only is this a great start-up/scale-up story, there's a strong sense of purpose and making a difference in the world that drives the company. The other thing that occurred to me as I listened to the Kanopy story was 'of course, what a great idea, it's so logical'. And I guess that's the beauty of the idea journey. There's lots of ideas within each of us BUT not many who take action and turn their idea into reality.

I was told that you have to be crazy or naive to develop a startup. Very inspiring to see this startup succeed.

I had the good fortune to hear Kanopy's founder, Olivia Humphery, speak a few weeks ago at the ACS Reimagination conference. Not only is this a fantastic start-up/scale-up tale, but the company is also driven by a strong sense of purpose and making a positive impact on the world.
