Israeli startup Plantish has launched what it claims is the world's first whole cut plant-based salmon.

"We love our fish where they belong: in the ocean. Our team of foodie scientists took some natural ingredients and made the best fish fillets on the market – no fishing required."

Plantish’s plant-based salmon is expected to launch commercially in 2024, though it will also be showcased at various popup events later this year.

As concern about overfishing grows, an increasing number of companies worldwide are launching alt-salmon products. Take a look at the article and judge for yourself on this one: https://israeltrade.org.au/2022/01/17/unorthodox-lox/
