Turning Bus Stops Into Green Roof Pollinator Gardens For Bees

post-image

A city in the East Midlands of the United Kingdom is turning all the roofs of their bus stops into pollinator gardens for bees.

Bees are a major player in our ecosystem. Without them, we'd struggle to produce food and our green spaces would suffer.

By helping the bees bounce back after their decline because of bee killing pesticides, we're also helping ourselves and our environment.

Hopefully more places will take up this idea

Nice idea to fix the suburban bus stops which often get neglected. This would help keep them in the spotlight and also hide any fixtures. Wouldn't even have to be "bee stops" but perhaps other assortments of flowers.
