I saw that film, it was great. I just hope people with Down’s syndrome aren't really treated like that in the US, putting him in a care facility not suited to his needs. Clearly, he could have been taught to live independently
Good point in the article that differently able is a better term than the word ‘disability’. Good to read about so many examples of differently able people.
