The first time a cultural institution has used deepfakes for artistic purposes

The Dali Museum in Florida has collaborated with Goodby, Silverstein & Partners (GS&P) to resurrect the iconic artist Salvador Dalí through deepfake technology. By merging archival footage with AI algorithms, they created an interactive Dalí that greets and engages with visitors. Nathan Shipley, GS&P's Technical Director, described this as "the first time a cultural institution has used deepfakes for artistic purposes."

This revolutionary use of deepfakes not only brings the artist back to life but also offers visitors a unique interactive experience with Dalí's art and persona- Peter H Diamandis
