I agree Glenn, Michael Psscoe has given a great sermon.
Happiness comes from giving, not taking. That means putting more into society than taking out.
Prosperity theology assumes being being part of a religeous sect makes you rich which might be true if the aim is to defraud naive followers.
Trickle down economics assumes that if the rich are untaxed they will share their wealth with others which might also be true at the margin, but they will decide who is worthy and who is not. By contrast the state taxes and redistributes on known and set criteria judged by everyone (i.e. voters).

"If we wait for Government, it'll be too little, too late; if we act as individuals, it'll be too little; but if we act as communities, it might just be enough, just in time".
