Astronauts may someday not have to worry about bland food when going to Mars.

A new experiment growing food for deeper space exploration and habitation was launched in early summer 2021 involving chili plant seedlings.

Chili plants made the news in the last few days as they grew flowers on the Space Station after being pollinated with a little help from astronauts.
