Meals on Wheels America operates in virtually every community in America to feed seniors who face isolation and hunger.

The disproportionate threat the COVID virus poses leaves some seniors unable to trek to the grocery store or purchase foods in restaurants.

Meals on Wheels America adopted some creative solutions.

1. Volunteers leave food at seniors doors by giving a knock and stepping back but still check in.

2.   Use of scaled up hired paid drivers

3. Weekly or bi-weekly food delivery instead of daily

4. Delivery of necessities beyond meals to keep seniors safe.

5. Curb-side grab and go pick-up.
