Australian online platform Project Hotplate is launching step-by-step cooking classes with some of the best recipes from local eateries and chefs. The initiative is another strategy to help local cafes and restaurants recover from impacts of COVID-19 restrictions. It allows owners to give the community online classes with some of their favourite dishes, and in exchange, the community can support them financially by buying the classes. The project has no upfront costs for participating cafes and restaurants, and it is hoped it can continue long-term even after life returns to normal.
